Wheel House Designs Chickadee Christmas Tree Sock is a tribute to the Chickadee who is a small bird of the Northern USA and Southern Canada. It flies around with other small birds. It loves to eat Sunflower Seeds from your birdfeeders and will stuff them into tree bark branches to save them for later. They also eat insects depending on which season they will eat caterpillars, spiders, their eggs, or pupae. Sometimes they will eat fat off dead animals. They like berries! The tree on the Sock appears to be a Virginia Pine with long needles. In this Sock, the Virginia Pine is dusted with Snow. There is a Red Christmas Ornament along with a Pinecone on the top of the Sock under the Cuff and at the Foot. There are Two Chickadees on the Tree in colors of Black for the Cap and Greys for the Top of the Wings. The Breast is a Bone and White.
