Truly beautiful gutta percha/ Vulcanite Victorian mourning antique locket pendant with a detailed faith, hope, and love motif on top! The anchor, heart, and cross are raised against the smooth background. When opened, the locket has one compartment with glass. Exquisitely produced and a most unique piece of authentic all original Victorian mourning jewelry that is as wearable today as it was 150 years ago!

Measurements: The locket measures roughly 2.25 inches tall and 1 1/3 inches wide.
Circa: 1850-1860 Civil War Era
Condition: Very good antique condition. The locket closes with a firm snap with the carving crisp. The inside ring is loose.
